I'm packing for a week away and trying to keep my clothes to a small set that works together. I am choosing between a cool navy top, a softer blue one, and two neutral layers. My hesitation is that the colors seem quite different in my bedroom than they do beside a window. In indoor pictures the navy loses its blue tone, so I don't want to make the whole decision from pictures. I bookmarked a color analysis page as one possible starting point, but I would still like to check the actual clothes against my face. Would you test them near a window at midday, or is there a better way to keep the lighting consistent? I can also hold up plain white fabric to see whether the blues change how my skin looks. I do not expect one snapshot to settle a palette. I just want a repeatable check before I leave out something useful. If you have a reliable daylight routine, which difference would you pay attention to first: the color itself, the shadows on the face, or how easily the pieces combine?
